Catalogue punch list

Everything the audit of the live catalogue turned up. Work down this list and the product pages fix themselves — the site reads from the same data.

26 of 129 products have imagery that hurts more than it helps, and 7 have no price. Those two lists are where the money is.

Chemicals sharing one generic bucket photo

10

Ten different products, $81 to $196, all showing the same unbranded white bucket. Their 1-gallon siblings already have proper branded label photography — shoot the ten buckets once, or composite the existing label art onto a bucket render. This is the single easiest win in the catalogue.

Sourced from distributor or marketplace listings rather than shot in-house. The Female Plug SS image had an Amazon CDN filename and has already been pulled from the site — it now shows a “photo pending” placeholder. Worth a look at the rest before launch.

The five Alkotas are the premium hot water line and the highest-ticket items in the catalogue. On the old site they had no price and no quote route — pure lost revenue. They now carry a “Request a price” call to action, but a real number would convert better.

Specifications needing confirmation

32

Each of these carries a note on its product page explaining what is uncertain and why. Nothing here is guessed — where manufacturers disagreed we published the lower or the more recent figure and said so.

BE 8-10 GPM Hot Box 12VA hot box heats water — it has no pump and produces no pressure of its own, so there is no PSI rating. Some sellers list one; that figure is the coil's maximum working pressure, not output. Pair it with a machine in the 8–10 GPM range.
Alkota 430XM43,000 PSI is confirmed. Alkota's own documents disagree on flow: their 2024 spec sheet and the X4 series data both say 3.6 GPM, while their current web listing says 3.8. We publish the spec sheet figure — confirm against the data plate before ordering.
Alkota 420X42,000 PSI is confirmed. Alkota's March 2025 spec sheet says 3.5 GPM; an older web listing says 3.6. We publish the newer sheet.
Alkota 8405HNLPSI, GPM and engine confirmed from Alkota's series listings. Alkota has not published an individual spec sheet for this model — burner BTU and temperature rise are not yet confirmed.
Bandit TruPower 8 GPM @ 4000 PSIThis machine was set to hidden in the old catalogue — it was reachable by search engines but no customer browsing the site could find it. It is listed properly here.
2025 Comet P40 Softwash (New Style)Rated 20 bar (290 PSI) and 11.5 GPM max at 550 RPM. Comet's US listings round this to “300 PSI” — same pump.
AR45 Soft Wash Unit — Electric Start20 bar (290 PSI) at 11.4 GPM max, 550 RPM. Figures confirmed against two specialist dealers; not yet checked against AR's own datasheet.
Simpson Soft Wash Cold Water Gas Pump System — 300 PSI, 8.0 GPM, Honda GX200Both Simpson soft wash units in our catalogue carry the model number SW380133E despite having different engines — this one is the Honda GX200 build. We are confirming the correct part number with Simpson; call before ordering if the exact model matters to you.
Simpson Soft Wash BPX25 — 300 PSI, 8.0 GPM, CRX 225 EngineThis is the CRX 225 build. It shares the SW380133E model number with the Honda GX200 unit in our catalogue, which cannot be right for both — we are checking with Simpson. Call before ordering if the exact part number matters.
Remco 7 GPM Fatboy 12VRemco builds this 7 GPM pump in both 60 PSI and 100 PSI versions, separated by one character in the part number. Soft wash work usually wants the 100 PSI build — call us and we will confirm which one is on the shelf before it ships.
Whisper Wash Mini Mondo Surface CleanerWhisper Wash sell this as the Mini Mondo Force 31" — it is a 31 inch deck, not 30. Rated 6–12 GPM; 8 GPM or better is where it starts earning its keep.
Whisper Wash Classic 19" Surface CleanerThe Xenoy cover caps this at 185°F. If you run a hot water machine above that, take the aluminium-covered Classic Extreme Duty instead.
Bandit 24" Surface Cleaner with Aluminum Deck and CastorsPressure Systems Innovations publish a 10 GPM maximum and a 5,000 PSI / 300°F ceiling, but no minimum flow. Treat 5–6 GPM as the sensible floor for a 24 inch deck.
Whisper Wash Ultra Clean 19" Surface CleanerWhisper Wash build this in two versions at the same rating: HC (hover, no wheels) and WW (four casters). Tell us which you want when you order — they handle very differently.
Bandit 20" Surface Cleaner with Aluminum DeckRated to 10 GPM, 5,000 PSI and 300°F — the highest ceilings in this category. No minimum flow is published; 4 GPM is the practical floor for a 20 inch deck.
BE Whirl-A-Way 20" Surface Cleaner — No CastorsABS cover, so 180°F is the ceiling — the lowest here. Fine for cold water and warm work; not the deck for a hot machine. BE's own table and their dealers disagree on maximum pressure (3,000/5,000 vs 4,000); we publish the 4,000 PSI dealer consensus.
Midwest Proportioner for Gas Soft Wash Units (AR45 / P40)A low-pressure blending component — no PSI rating applies. Inlet and bypass sizes differ by pump: the P40 takes a 1" inlet and 1/2" bypass, the AR45 takes 1-1/4" and 3/4".
Midwest Hydro Mixer 1/2 inch (12V / Air)Sits on the low-pressure blending side, so there is no meaningful PSI rating — the polypropylene manifold is not a high-pressure component. Rated by flow.
FlowPro Remote BypassFlowPro publish port size and voltage but no PSI or flow rating. Available in 3/8" and 1/2" — tell us which line you are running.
Down Stream Mixer with Clear ManifoldNo manufacturer pressure or flow rating is published for this manifold. It is a low-pressure downstream component; call us if you need to confirm it suits your setup.
Injector Bypass Kit — StainlessAn assembly rather than a single rated unit — its working limit is set by whichever component is lowest, normally the ball valve. Built around a 2.1 mm injector, so 3–5 GPM.
K7.2 Flow UnloaderSame valve body as the K7.3 — the difference is the flow range the internals are sized for, and they take different repair kits. Needs at least 5% bypass flow to work. General Pump's product page says 3,500 PSI while their own K7 spec sheet says 3,000; we publish the lower figure.
K7.3 UnloaderThe higher-flow sibling of the K7.2 — same body, different internals, different repair kit. Needs at least 5% bypass flow. General Pump's own literature gives both 3,000 and 3,500 PSI; we publish the lower figure.
Sludge Suck #6.0Moves roughly 2,500 gallons an hour on an 11:1 suction ratio. Note the 104°F ceiling — this is not for hot water.
VRT3 EZ Start UnloaderEasy-start version of the VRT3, which takes the load off the engine when you pull it over. Same spring caveat: yellow, blue and black springs rate 140, 220 and 280 bar respectively.
VRT3 UnloaderThe VRT3's pressure rating depends on which spring is fitted: yellow 140 bar (~2,030 PSI), blue 220 bar (~3,190 PSI), black 280 bar (~4,060 PSI). We publish the black-spring figure rounded down. Check the spring in your valve before you rely on the number — this is not a place to assume.
1/2 F Super Swivel SSSuper Swivels build both a nickel-plated alloy steel inline unit at this rating and a stainless 90° hose-reel version. Confirm which one you need when you order — the titles get used interchangeably across the trade.
DN10 Ball Valve“DN10” is a 10mm bore designation, not a pressure rating — valves sold under that name run anywhere from 3,000 to 5,000 PSI. General Pump's DBV501238 is rated 5,000 PSI; the generic Italian equivalents are 3,000. We publish 3,000 until the valve on the shelf is confirmed. Call us and we will check the one in your hand.
4 Tip J-RodThe rod itself carries no pressure rating — what matters is the nozzles you put in it. Size those to your machine's PSI and GPM with our nozzle calculator.
GP Injectors2.1 mm orifice, roughly 20% chemical draw. Injectors are a wear item and a stuck-open one bleeds pressure the whole time you work — worth keeping a spare on the truck.
Male Coupler SSThere is no single industry pressure rating for quick connects — the geometry is standard but the rating is not. Stainless 3/8" runs 5,000 to 5,200 PSI depending on maker; brass is nearer 4,000. We publish 5,000 as the conservative stainless figure.
Female Plug SSPhoto pending. The image on the old site had an Amazon CDN filename, so it was almost certainly taken from someone else's listing — we have pulled it rather than carry it across. The part itself is unchanged.

Structural issues in the old catalogue

  1. A category was mislabelled, and it is a trapOn the live WooCommerce site, /product-category/cold-water-pressure-washers/ — plural — is the Parts category, holding 22 parts. The real cold water machines sit at cold-water-pressure-washer, singular. One character apart. The redirect map handles it, but check it at launch: get it backwards and every parts visitor lands on machines.
  2. A $3,299 machine was invisibleThe Bandit TruPower 8 GPM @ 4000 PSI was set to hidden in WooCommerce — in the sitemap, so search engines could see it, but unreachable for anyone browsing. It is listed normally here. Confirm that was not deliberate.
  3. Two Simpson units share one model numberBoth soft wash units claim SW380133E despite different engines (Honda GX200 vs CRX 225). One is wrong. This is the kind of error that generates returns — worth a call to Simpson.
  4. Stock status is baked into two product namesTwo hose reels carry “DISCONTINUED=LOW STOCK” and “1 Left In Stock!!” in the product title itself, which puts it in the page heading and the search result. That belongs in a stock badge, not the name.
  5. Several old URLs carry typoswhispeer-wash-mini-mondo and whipser-wash-big-guy-28 are both live and indexed with the brand name misspelled. Corrected here, with 301s from the old slugs.
