The eleven-point check
Every used machine gets the same inspection before we will list it. Run this list yourself on anything you are considering buying, from us or from anyone else:
- Hours on the engine, and whether they match the wear
- Pump condition — packings, valves, and any weeping at the manifold
- Coil scale and burner condition on hot water units
- Unloader and thermal relief function under load
- Actual measured PSI and GPM against the plate rating
- Hose condition and fitting wear
- Frame, welds and mounting integrity
- Fuel system and filter condition
- Belt or coupler wear on the drive
- Chemical injector function
- A full run under load, not just a start-up
